It is very unfortunate that mechanical and electrical problems plagued the Corbin Sparrows and helped to cause their demise. Many Sparrows developed faulty controllers, bad chargers, as well as rear wheel bearing failures, drive belt breakages, severe brake squeaking, and water leaks.

In late 2005, a company called MyersMotors (http://myersmotors.com/) eventually obtained all of Corbin's parts stock and started to produce the Sparrow again. They are now called "NMG" for NO MORE GAS. Although several have been sold, is said that Myersmotors will only complete the remaining 70 Sparrow body shells that Corbin had leftover, before creating another vehicle.

Myersmotors has made upgrades from the original Sparrows to fix some design flaws. They seem like a great company trying to continue with a great idea. I'm not sure what the future will hold for the NMG, but hopefully it won't have the same fate as the Sparrow. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.....

I hope that you enjoyed this website and was able to obtain some information on the Corbin Sparrow. As you might be able to tell,it is one of my favorite vehicles because it is so odd and different.

I would like to thank everyone whose pictures I've included. I would not have been able to build this site with accurate information without the help.
